Really excited to give this gift to my dad he needed a good heavy duty vice that allowed him to do alot of work on the farm. I watch many YouTube reviews on this vice, all showing how much of a reliable heavy duty vice this was. Love that it is very versatile! Can't wait for dad to use it!

As usual I read the reviews on this vice. There were some negative reviews as expected from a Chineeseium made unit. But the positive reviews were in my favor. So, I pulled the trigger and bought it. The vise arrived well packaged and undamaged. I took the vise completely apart and checked all the pieces for fit and finish. I lubed the main screw with wheel bearing grease, cleaned off some excess casting slag and reassembled the vise. I installed it on my workbench with S/S fasteners and I like the vise....a lot. The vise is almost a double for the old Craftsman vise from Sears.
